C'est à quatre jours de sa venue à Paris qu'AR Rahman annonce sur son site l'annulation de plusieurs dates dont trois en Europe (Paris, Mannheim et Zurich) qui sont reportées sine die. Selon le communiqué de presse disponible en anglais (publié en intégralité dans cet article), un accident survenu à Detroit (Michigan) le 19 juin, aurait endommagé les infrastructures de scène, les éclairages et les instruments de musique. Nous étonnant que cela ne soit pas précisé sur les billeteries visitées (Tickenet,
Fnac, et France Billet) à 18h ce jour, les organisateurs nous ont indiqué que les billets restaient valables pour la prochaine date qui sera très prochainement indiquée sur les différentes billeteries et sur le site officiel de la tournée Jai Ho World Tour...

AR Rahman To Resume World Tour in UK
Regrettably, superstar AR Rahman has had to postpone part of his current
European tour. The shows that were due to take place in Zurich on July
16th, Paris July 17th and Mannheim on July 18th have had to be postponed
due to circumstances beyond our control.
The elaborate production and set design includes custom state of the art
equipment and staging. After four highly successful concerts, the tour
was derailed by a serious accident in Detroit (US), where part of the
stage infrastructure collapsed, destroying most of the staging, lighting
and musical instruments. The shows in North
America have been rescheduled for September. Mr Rahman regrets any
inconvenience this causes and is apologetic to his fans and all those
who have contributed to the tour. The shows will be rescheduled as soon
as possible.

dancers and crew and I are all highly disappointed, but it is the fans
